How to scan a QR code?

Scanning a QR code is simple, and can be done with pretty much any smart device. The process is a little different depending on your device's operating system (OS) and model. Here are all the details you need to know:

  • For iOS devices, simply run the default Camera app and use it to capture the QR code. The code will be detected automatically, usually in a fraction of a second. No extra apps needed.

  • If you're using an Android device, QR functionality will depend on your phone manufacturer and Android OS version. Devices running on Android 8 or newer OS will also allow you to scan the QR code with the Camera app. Some older devices will require you to download a third-party app from the Google Play store. Don't worry - there are plenty of them.
