Getting started with PeaceWallet
Creating a new wallet is a quick and simple process.
- Install PeaceWallet on your iOS or Android device.
- Select "Create a new wallet".
- Write down or copy the backup phrase in the correct order and save it somewhere safe.
- Confirm the backup phrase and set a pin-code to start using your PeaceWallet.
What is a backup phrase?
It’s a list of words that store all the information needed to recover crypto funds on-chain. Wallet software will typically generate a seed phrase and instruct a user to write it down on a piece of paper. If the user’s phone breaks or gets lost, they can download the same wallet app again and enter the backup phrase from the paper to get their cryptos back. Anybody else who discovers the phrase can steal the cryptos, so it must be kept safe.
I moved to another smartphone. How can I access my wallet?
Your private key is stored locally on your mobile device. If you change to a new smartphone, you will need to recover your wallet through the backup phrase.
If you delete your wallet from your old smartphone without backing up the seed phrase, you will lose everything you have in that wallet, and there is no way to recover it.
Who has access to my wallet? How is privacy ensured?
You are the only person who has full control over the funds you store on PeaceWallet.
We don’t have access to your wallet.

We can’t restore or reset your password.
